Excitement buzzes through the punk rock community as the When We Were Young Festival announces its headliners for the 2024 event. My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy are set to lead an exhilarating lineup at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, beginning October 19, 2024.
This annual rock reunion is bringing together a blend of iconic and contemporary bands. Alongside My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy, the festival features performances by A Day to Remember, Jimmy Eat World, Pierce the Veil, The Used, Simple Plan, and Dashboard Confessional, among others.
A unique twist to this year’s festival is the promise of complete album performances. Attendees can look forward to My Chemical Romance delivering their acclaimed album “The Black Parade,” Jimmy Eat World’s hit “Bleed American,” and A Day to Remember’s celebrated “Homesick.”
Ticket registration is currently open on the When We Were Young website, offering early access codes for the presale starting at 10 a.m. on November 17. Should any tickets remain, they will be available to the general public later that same day, from 2 p.m. PT.
My Chemical Romance shared their excitement on Instagram, teasing fans with the caption, “Now Come One, Come All To This Tragic Affair………………,” alongside a vibrant festival poster. Fall Out Boy echoed the sentiment on their Instagram, expressing eagerness for their Vegas appearance next year.
The 2024 edition marks the third year of the festival in Vegas. Previous headliners included Paramore and MCR in 2022, while last year saw Blink-182 and Green Day take the stage, supported by acts like 5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low, and Good Charlotte.
