As U2 guitarist The Edge told Rolling Stone, their latest tour aims to be a “quantum leap forward in the sense of what a concert can be.” U2’s U2:UV Achtung Baby Live Las Vegas residency begins on September 29, 2023, at the newly-constructed Sphere concert venue.
The Sphere, located near the Venetian resort, took five years and over $2 billion to construct. As the “world’s largest spherical structure,” it spans 516 feet wide and 366 feet tall, accommodating 17,600 attendees. The venue boasts the highest-resolution LED screen globally, 10,000 vibrating “immersive seats,” environmental controls, and 164,000 speakers. The Edge says the Sphere provides an “amazing playpen” for the band.

When is the U2 Residency in Las Vegas?
The “Achtung Baby” residency starts on September 29, 2023, at the Sphere at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Additional performances are scheduled for September 30, October 5, 7, and 8. Due to high demand, seven more concerts were added for October 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, and 25.
When do U2 Achtung Baby Tickets Go On Sale?
U2 tickets will initially be available on Ticketmaster.com. U2.com subscribers can access tickets via Ticketmaster Request from now until Wednesday, April 26. Log into your Ticketmaster account, choose up to 3 shows, rank them by preference, request up to 4 tickets, and select the ticket type.
Fans can also register for the Verified Fan presale, which runs through Wednesday, to be eligible for the Verified Fan presale on Thursday, April 27. General on-sale begins Friday, April 28, at 10 a.m. ET. General-admission floor seats are nontransferable and cannot be resold above face value.
U2 ticket prices start at $140, with all-in pricing covering taxes and fees. Sixty percent of tickets at the larger-capacity Sphere will be under $300, and a limited number of premium-priced tickets will be available. The Edge emphasizes that they are “trying our best to be as fair and respectful to our fans as we can be” and spreading out ticket costs to include affordable options.

While Ticketmaster is the initial source for U2 tickets, reseller sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, and Vivid Seats will likely offer tickets as well.
