It’s been 3 months since the unexpected death of singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle, and now his cause of death has been released to the public.
A report from the Tennessee Department of Health revealed on Tuesday, December 1st that Earle died of an accidental “acute combined drug toxicity.
His close friends also shared the update on Facebook, writing “Next to alcohol and cocaine the autopsy report revealed traces of fentanyl and that that usage of fentanyl-laced cocaine caused an accidental overdose.”
It’s just another example of a wonderful talent that has fallen victim to drugs and alcohol.
The list of wasted youth continues and it never seems to go away. Let’s hope that others in similar situations are able to find help before it’s too late.
