Punk rock drummer D.H. Peligro, was a cornerstone of the band the Dead Kennedys, has died. He was 63.
Peligro, whose given name was Darren Henley, died Friday in his Los Angeles home, the band shared his passing through Instagram and the news quickly spread.
“Police on the scene stated that he died from trauma to the head caused by an accidental fall,” according to the post, which said funeral arrangements would be announced “in the coming days.” Fans will remember the tenacity of the way he played the drums in one of Americas greatest punk bands. He will be missed by fans around the world. May he Rest In Peace.
