An unconventional turn of events unfolded at pop star Pink’s recent concert, where a fan tossed the ashes of their deceased mother onto the stage. The 43-year-old musician was in the middle of performing her hit single “Just Like A Pill” at the crowded BST Hyde Park in London, when a spectator cast a transparent bag filled with a powdery substance onto the stage, reveals a report by People.
A Twitter-shared video captured the incident, showing Pink picking up the bag and seeking confirmation from the crowd, asking, “Is this your mum?” On receiving an affirmative response, the singer gingerly placed the bag back onto the stage, remarking, “I don’t know how I feel about this.”
Known for her hit “Just Give Me A Reason,” Pink is currently traveling across Europe as part of her Summer Carnival 2023 Tour. The next stop on the schedule is Vienna on July 1, with the European leg of the tour culminating in Warsaw, Poland, on July 16.
The dynamic performer plans to bring her tour to North America from July through October, before concluding the global tour in Australia and New Zealand in early 2024.
