Okeechobee Returns After 3-Year Hiatus With T-Pain, Young the Giant & Friends

After three years in the wilderness, Okeechobee is finally crawling out of the swamp — and it’s bringing the party back to Sunshine Grove for its 10-year anniversary, March 19–22, 2026. Florida knows how to host a festival (heat stroke included), so expect four days of chaos, camping, and music that’ll rattle your tent poles.

The headliners? Let’s just say this one’s got range. You’ve got Australian beat wizard Fisher, funk-bass wildman Griz (pulling double duty with two sets), indie festival darlings The Lumineers, and, of course, Florida’s own hip-hop king T-Pain — Mr. “Buy U a Drank” himself, who has more hits and hooks than half the TikTok generation combined.

But here’s where I get sentimental: the lineup also includes Young the Giant, one of the most criminally underrated bands of the last two decades. They’re in my personal top 10 of all time. I caught them in St. Augustine at The Amp with Fitz and the Tantrums, and let me tell you — absolute gold. Smooth, anthemic, and arena-ready without losing their edge. If you’ve never seen them live, Okeechobee is your chance.

And that’s just the surface. The undercard is a dance music playground stacked with names like Alison Wonderland, LP Giobbi, Big Gigantic, Tycho, Ganja White Night, and The Disco Biscuits, plus curveballs like Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Flipturn. Basically, Okeechobee is daring you to pick a favorite stage — and fail.

For the insomniacs, Jungle 51 is back: an all-night DJ dimension where Moodymann, Derrick May, Nightmares on Wax, and others will spin you into sunrise. Bring earplugs. Or don’t.

This will be the first Okeechobee since 2023, with Soundslinger Live (the festival’s founder) taking the reins solo this time. No Insomniac partnership, no corporate sugar coating — just the original crew keeping the tradition alive. Over 225,000 fans have trekked through Sunshine Grove since 2016, and if history’s any indicator, 2026 will be one for the books.

So yeah, it’s been three years, but Okeechobee is back and bigger than ever. Florida knows how to host a party — sunshine, sweat, and music that doesn’t quit. Grab your tickets, pack your camping gear, and maybe a case of Gatorade, because this one’s going to test your endurance.
