Noah Yorke, emerging musician and son of Radiohead’s lead vocalist Thom Yorke, has introduced his latest song, ‘Cerebral Key’. The new track was revealed through Sly-Tone Records on August 1 and is a part of his upcoming EP, also titled ‘Cerebral Key’.
The song carries a vocal resemblance to his famous father as Yorke’s lyrics explore introspective themes: “He lost himself inside a dream / Nobody was sure what it was supposed to be / It’s clear as day / Just need some time and I’m not afraid.”
Sharing his enthusiasm about the project on Instagram, Noah Yorke noted that it was his first solo studio experience and expressed pride in the outcome: “It has been a reflective and formative process to write and record this project for you, and I hope you enjoy it.”
Following a Musical Lineage
‘Cerebral Key’ is the latest addition to Yorke’s growing discography, following previous singles ‘Red Skies,’ a collaboration with Dylan Gers, son of Iron Maiden guitarist Janick Gers, and ‘Lucky Black Cat’. He launched his first track under his name, ‘Trying Too Hard (Lullaby)’, in September 2021. Before that, Yorke had released material under the pseudonym Alec Owen, including the 2020 album ‘L.E.T.H.A.L.’, and was part of the London duo Hex Girlfriend.
