Metalheads around the world mourn as Super Rocker Marsha Zazula, Co-Founder of Iconic Metal Label Megaforce Records, Dies at 68
The famous label announced today that Marsha had passed over the weekend. “The world of music owes a debt of gratitude to Marsha Zazula, who along with her husband Jon gave birth to some of the most musically significant artists. Marsha was one of a kind and taught the world to be fiercely independent. In our hearts, she’ll always be a guiding force”
In the early 1980s, Zazula and husband Jon founded Megaforce Records, which released Metallica’s first records and many more such as anthrax, stormtroopers of death, overkill, M.O.D. just to name a few.
There’s no doubt that Marsha was a rock and roll legend as well as setting a standard for women in the music business
She will be deeply missed.
