Machine Gun Kelly seems to be directing some fiery words at Jack Harlow in his latest freestyle. On Saturday (May 6), the 33-year-old pop-punk sensation released a sizzling two-and-a-half-minute rap called “Renegade Freestyle.” Set to the beat of Jay-Z and Eminem’s 2001 track “Renegade,” MGK apparently targets Harlow, 25, who recently unveiled his third album, Jackman. “I comprehend why they tag you Jackman/ You snatched man’s full flair, give back Drake’s rhythm, man,” Kelly raps around the 1:22 point of the freestyle. “I devour rappers like Pac Man/ Shall I regurgitate and exhibit who’s inside my gut from the last round?”
MGK’s perceived jab comes after Harlow’s claim of being the “toughest white boy since the one who rapped about puke and sweaters” in the new Jackman. song “They Don’t Love It.”
Jackman. succeeds the Louisville rapper’s 2022 second album, Come Home the Kids Miss You, which climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Kelly also posted the freestyle video on his Instagram account. “Never been scared to express what’s on my mind at any moment of the day,” he captioned the clip, shot in a friend’s backyard. “New cypher out now.”
