Remember the humpty dance? Most of us do, as it was one of the bigger hits of 1989.
It was also the song that helped launch the career of Gregory Edward Jacobs.
Jacobs was also known for his collaborations with rap legend Tupac Shakur on not one but two of the Tupac’s albums, producing 2Pacalypse Now in 1991 and being featured on the 1993 song “I Get Around”. He also helped produce albums by Dr. Dre and Prince.
No cause of death had been confirmed as they are waiting for autopsy reports.
There’s no doubt that he was a busy man in the music world and not just in “a Burger King bathroom”. His talent will surely be missed by all. RIP
