Fans of Ms. Lauryn Hill and The Fugees, rejoice! The acclaimed artists are gearing up for their rescheduled tour to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Hill’s seminal album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”. Originally delayed due to Hill’s vocal recovery, the tour is now slated to begin on August 9 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida, and will include 21 dynamic performances across the United States and Europe.
This celebratory journey will conclude on October 22 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, combining the influential sounds of Hill’s “The Miseducation” and The Fugees’ “The Score”. YG Marley, Hill’s son with Rohan Marley, will join as the opening act, adding a personal touch to the lineup.
Ticket sales for the U.S. leg will commence with a Citi presale on June 25, available from 10 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com. The general public can snag their tickets starting June 28. European fans can also look forward to presales beginning June 26, with general sales launching concurrently with the U.S. dates.
Highlighting Hill’s commitment to social causes, $2 from each ticket sold will be donated to the MLH fund. This initiative supports a range of community needs including mental health services, women’s wellness, and educational programs.
After a necessary hiatus in November to address health concerns regarding her vocal cords, Hill expressed her gratitude for the fans’ support and excitement about the tour. She assured that all postponed shows from this year will be rescheduled for early 2024, with additional cities to be added, both in the U.S. and internationally.
