We were told it was the “End of the Road,” but turns out, that road had a detour in Vegas.
Just over a year since KISS took their final bow in full kabuki glam at Madison Square Garden, the rock n’ roll immortals are back to shake the stage once again—only this time, they’re doing it without the face paint. That’s right. Gene, Paul, and the gang are ditching the greasepaint for one night only at the KISS Army Storms Vegas event happening November 14–16 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
Announced in a fan-blast email like a rock n’ roll bat signal, this stripped-down (well, as stripped as KISS gets) live show will be part of a three-day spectacle celebrating all things KISS. Expect merch, madness, and mayhem—but the real headline is the band’s first unmasked performance since the ‘90s.
And let’s be honest, KISS fans have heard the whole “final show ever” speech before. Twice. First in 2001, and again in 2023. But we’re not mad about the comeback. We’re actually thrilled—because who doesn’t want to see Gene Simmons spit fire without looking like he just walked out of a haunted house?
Also in the mix? Former guitarist Bruce Kulick, who’s teased to make a live appearance. Whether he’s joining the band on stage or doing his own thing, it’s still enough to make any longtime fan dust off their old “Crazy Nights” tee and start packing for Sin City.
But wait—wasn’t KISS working on a digital future too? You bet they are. Paul Stanley teased earlier that the group’s next evolution includes a “non-hologram” immersive live experience launching in Vegas by 2027. So, if you thought KISS couldn’t get weirder… think again.
And for those of you wondering why Gene postponed a chunk of his solo tour dates, don’t panic—it’s not a health scare. But you might have to wait until 2026 to carry his bass or fetch him a soda as part of his “personal assistant for a day” VIP stunt. (Yes, that’s a real thing.)
Bottom line? KISS is the cockroach of rock—gloriously unkillable, louder than ever, and always ready for one more encore.
