When asked how locals will deal with the cancelation of Bonnaroo the 4 day event …’Just trying to make it hurt a little less” was the answer of one business owner
The word was out to Pack up the tent, and go back home. The Manchester, Tenn. music festival isn’t happening. Organizers of Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival canceled the four-night event due to intense rainfall from Tropical Depression Ida.
Rain moved in late last Monday and continued throughout Tuesday, causing saturated tollbooth paths and flooded the campgrounds “to the point that we are unable to drive in or park vehicles safely,” according to a statement from Bonnaroo.
No word on when or if there will be a makeup date but chances are fans will have to wait yet another year to enjoy one of America’s premier music events.
