Aaron Carter, singer and onetime teenage sensation, has died at 34. The news of his death was first reported by TMZ. Aaron’s older brother, Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, tweeted that he is “heartbroken” over Aaron’s passing. Aaron shot to fame in the late 1990s with hits like “I Want Candy” and “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It).” In recent years, Aaron had been open about his struggles with drugs and mental health. He was arrested several times on drug-related charges and went to rehab multiple times. In November 2019, Aaron spoke out about his battle with anorexia and disclosed that he weighed only 115 pounds at the time. Aaron is survived by his brother Nick and sister Angel.
