The 2023 Billboard Music Awards, set for November 19, promise an evening of spectacular performances from some of the biggest names in music. The event, commencing at 8 p.m. ET, will feature a lineup of stars, including Morgan Wallen, Mariah Carey, Peso Pluma, Tate McRae, Bebe Rexha & David Guetta, Stray Kids, NewJeans, and KAROL G. Each artist will bring a unique touch to their performance. Morgan Wallen, in the midst of a sold-out U.S. tour, is set to perform “98 Braves” from Atlanta’s Truist Park. Mariah Carey is preparing a festive, Aspen-themed rendition of her holiday classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” under the creative direction of Debbie Allen.
Peso Pluma will feature boxing icon Mike Tyson in their performance of “Rubicón.” Tyson, a self-proclaimed fan, has previously shown support for Pluma’s album, “Génesis.”
Tate McRae makes her BBMAs debut with “greedy,” a track that’s climbed to No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, filmed at downtown Los Angeles’s Moxy Hotel. Rexha and Guetta will bring their hits “I’m Good (Blue)” and “One in a Million” to the stage.
K-pop acts Stray Kids and NewJeans will also debut at the BBMAs, performing hits like “S-Class,” “LALALALA,” “Super Shy,” and “OMG.” The diverse lineup reflects the evolving music scene, showcasing talent from various genres.
Taylor Swift leads as the top finalist at the BBMAs with 20 nominations, followed closely by Morgan Wallen and SZA. The event, produced by Dick Clark Productions, aims to reimagine the award show experience, blending live performances with exclusive content in global and custom venues.
This year’s BBMAs introduce a unique collaboration with Spotify Fans First, rewarding dedicated fans with access to special artist performances. Marriott Bonvoy, along with Lexus, adds to the event’s allure, offering VIP experiences to fans.
